I am depressed over the Graphic Calculator which I sold for only RM260 and that Indian man freakin’ took a book for “free” which was not even in the deal at all! The son is innocent but those people are who I hold grudges on, I guess. I admit that it was partially my fault because I was not being aware. However, I would never believed to be cheated by another Malaysian as such. He told me that there was going to be a Fair and calculators will be sold for RM200. Being afraid that I might not at all be able to sell the calculator, I just took his offer.
That was just plain idiotic of me and I regret it now. Malaysians…. Because one gives a bad impression, it stays like this for the rest of our lives. What happens if foreigners who travels to Malaysia experience such? Would you think that they would ever want to come to Malysia again? It is how the Malay proverb ’sebab nila setitik, rosak susu sebelanga’ describes this situation. Not only during this incident that I experience such dissapointment, but while watching Amazing Race Asia, the Malaysian mums were in my opinion, not playing fair. I know that I should be supporting the representatives from my country but sometimes, you just can’t agree to something that is morally wrong. In that episode, the Japanese team got eliminated.
What happened? Well, they were using tricks to have the Japanese team go the wrong way and what if that happens to you? Wouldn’t you feel frustrated to be cheated? That is just wrong, man… It is just a freakin game and to me, they have gone too low. As this programme will be telecasted world wide, what would other people think of them?
Anyway, I did sell my notes to this guy who’s brother studies in IMU as well. I binded it for him and it wasn’t as cheap as I thought it would be but heck, it could have been more expensive. I really hope that the notes would be of very good use to him. That would make me feel proud and happy as the owner. I know that right now, I sound mad to treat my notes like my “baby” but what the heck, I wouldn’t part with it unless I know it has a good owner or at least a decent looking owner.
Other than that, two new friends I made, Vivek and Shan helped me sell my books and I too, helped them sell theirs. It was a mutual thing. I have a bag of books reserved for a girl. I sure do hope that she turns up tomorrow, otherwise, I’d have a headache having to sell the books all over again. I guess I can’t complain much except for being conned by the Indian men.
They were even asking me to reserve my notes and I did in the beginning but in the end, they didn’t come. So, it’s a good thing that there has been an arrangement for someone else to get it from me. My classmate was suppose to sell his stuff with me but he sold everything for a much more cheaper price that I think was too good to be true! Another classmate of ming, Eu Jin was unbelievable too. He sold his original books for a very very cheap price. I think I should have bought from him and sold it for a way higher price. What the heck, it was initially RM20 only until he changed it to RM40. Selling it for RM60-80 would still be reasonable considering that it is an original.
Oh well, what has happened has already happened. So, tomorrow is a new day and I am going to help Shan sell his books. Now, I’m wondering if I should sell my assignments. Hehehe… Nah, that’d be unfair…. *I’m so tempted to do so though* I am just feeling disgusted at how parents, yes, and I mean PARENTS who lie to take advantage of pre-adults. It is not called preparation of the outside world although it is the outside world. Rather, I believe that in conducting business or sales, it is the parents' role to play in guiding us. Did I stressed on PARENTS? I'm not saying that all parents does this, but more like parents ought not to do this because not only does it set a bad example and pose negative effects on other teenagers but it is also them that ought to be civilised. Just because I can't understand tamil doesn't mean they can criticize me in tamil. (I was just lucky to have an Indian friend beside me who translated every thing they said.)

;;One thing about the elders, they never seem to get enough care especially when their children are busy working. That is how most old people end up in the old folks home or so. I took this picture when I was paying a visit to my brother.
She collects boxes left by the supermarket and my guess is that she sells it to earn a living. As much as I wish that I could help her, I couldn't. This gives me a really sad feeling. They could have lead a better life. Did she have to do this? What about her children? I just feel that this is not fair, not only to this lady but to other old people who suffer the same fate. We might not read them in the newspapers but this doesn't mean it isn't happening.
(Sorry guys, I got a little emo...)

;;As dirty as it may sound, you're not even close to guessing what I'm talking about...
What do we do in cars?
- We read magazines while we wait for someone
- We listen to the radio and perhaps call when there is a cue to call
- We probably SMS our friends
- We probably look out and enjoy the beautiful view
- or, we just sleep (which is what I do most of the time)
But, today, something unexpected for me happened. A man was changing his clothes while driving. I didn't mean to look at it but heck, I was initially appreciating the scenery of the city at night. And right before me was a man who took off his shirt and quickly changed to another white one (while driving!) He obviously didn't wear his safety belt.
Think about how dangerous it is. He could have bang someone's car or hit a pedestrian who hurriedly crosses the road. Oh well, I hope there won't be more of these.
Was he in that much of a hurry to go visit someone that he had to change his clothes in the car?? Hmm, I wonder...

Yeap. Thats right. Believe it or not. Existence as you know it is THE lowest rung on the metaphysical level of all things good, bad and shine.
Why you ask? Well let me enlighten you.
First we look at Hell's composition. Fire, Brimstone, Demons, Gore, Suffering bla bla bla (insert Sunday school image of choice here)
You get the picture right?
Now try imagining each of those elements...
I guess you could say its a lot like this...

Look familiar? You'd bet your last pair of panties yes!
So... if hell is here then where is good ol' planet Bob?
Well... Let me say this;
People we do not elect rule the through sheer tyranny and the whip that is political correctness.
Of all things that are certain in this world inevitable eventual failure will ALWAYS be one of them.
God appeared to us "ONCE" in mortal form and we crucified him.
And well nobody's perfect. And we WERE created in Gods image. Ipso-facto he ain't perfect either. All powerful sure. Sadistic sure. But perfect? Pshaw!
Perfection is a hoax. How can everyone be perfect? Be PERFECTLY pure and PERFECTLY corrupted all at once? Pure Corruption i say.
God created all things. Perhaps. Which means he created evil too. Sure he gave us that carrot on a stick you people call hope but seriously; the murderer who grows flowers is still a murderer first and foremost. So...
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then is he impotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then is he malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Whence then is evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
Don't get me wrong. I bet most of you are thinking why the fuck the "Turbanator" bothers with his cultural mane of furry fur when he rants so much about hating the big Kahuna? Well you just answered your own question. Culture and Religion are two different concepts that are two separate, though significantly interwoven, entities. Sorta like politics and lying.
I keep my beard as a sign of respect to my forefathers. It is a symbol of my people. A part of their identity. Not a sign of my devotion to any one deity.
Also i cannot for the life of me understand the concept of faith. What i say i believe and all is forgiven? I say i believe and i am accepted? Why does God ask this of us? Does the father ask the fetus to show faith of existence outside the womb before he may be born?
Or worse. The fanatics. If you are not of our faith you are doomed to hell! And so we convert. Insincerely choosing a faith over gospel truth. Thats okay? What kind of segregation is this?
Didn't god want us all to be together? One big happy incestuous family? Then why the prohibition of inter marriage? More shit from the bull i say!
Conclusion; I hate God. Why? Coz he deserves it. What right do i have you ask me? What right don't i have? He put me in this shithole! I dint ask for any of it. Didn't anyone ask what I wanted? Sorry let me rephrase; Did anyone who gives a shit and actually makes an effort to help ask what i wanted?
P.S. This was a rant. I don't give a quarter pound of turd whether you were offended. So there! Swallow it.

;;Life: A Very, Very, Very Short Essay About It
4 mad rant(s) » Add your own! RANDTed: Albert at 8:16:00 PMHere's a cock and bull post to confuse the daylights out of you and reignite my passion for blogging hopefully.
Life is just like classic RPGs and MMORPGs. No mana (food and drink), you die. No ability, you die. No money, you die. These are the truths of life but there are exceptions to the rules especially when money and ability is concerned.
I know for a fact needs food and drink. Anybody refuting this is either stupid or big fat liars e.g., Breatharians who think they can survive on pranna (thin air). Most people get more than enough food. A large number of people in fact are fat gluttons like me and my best friend. Then we have those living on the brink of starvation. Many of course end up dropping dead. The world sure is very unfair. Why must gluttons exist in a world where people starve to death? Go ask Robert Mugabe.
Ability? Face it, if you have no ability life would so harsh you are better of dead. P. Ramlee's son is a road sweeper because he has no talent. Your maid most probably is maid probably because she's quite stupid. Drug addicts for one have purged their abilities away. But some stars have no talent but are rich. Why? For women it's basically all about sex. Have nice body? Can dance seductively (dancing seductively can be done just by unleashing your inner animal)? Willing to sex up the big shot? A girl who do all these become a star but go to hell according to George Bush and it's only in the immoral West if you listen to our politicians. Guys only need to be handsome and of course some sexual talent. Anyway, most celebrities are just trash and don't deserve their wealth. Paris Hilton on the other hand should just drop dead.
Money is the root of all evil but without it everyone dies. No money, you have no food so you will die. That is the simple fact unless you get help. The problem is all these problems are human made which again ironically is linked to money again. The kleptocrats rapes a nations wealth e.g., some guy whose father was from Kerala in a country with a peninsula and his cronies. Then they start swimming in their cash which can turn into blood money when people die because they lack the means to earn enough money to eat. No such thing in Malaysia but we have worshipers of money helping prop up regimes that make people starve. Sudan and Burma for example which coincidently involve Petronas. Perhaps Hades should come into the picture too.
Still confused?

I suppose this post has been a long time coming. It's like a letter you wrote one hot dusty afternoon, only to stop at the postbox, then dump it into the trash can beside it. Somehow, no matter how long you think about what to say and how to say it, the words never come out right. But they say if flowers waited till everything was just perfect before they blossomed after the long winter, then we'd never see spring at all.
It's been a long time since we started RANDTS. A lot of things have happened since then. We've seen members come and go as well as visitors drop by and leave. We've even had controversy drop by once in awhile for the occasional cup of tea. And still we weathered it all.
By this time, you might be wondering, "What's this guy comin' back all of a sudden? It's not like he cares about the blog anyways..."
That's true. If I'd cared I'd have been posting frequently. Trying to fan the flame even as our heads were repeatedly dunked into buckets of cold water. I'd have been there in RANDTS' darkest hour trying alongside you guys to keep the passion going, keep the momentum up.
But the hard fact is I didn't, did I?
It's like waking up from a bad dream only to see the mask of a killer you thought you'd never see again. The glint of the jagged blade in the darkness, your scarlet blood upon the sheets and the knife. You clutch your belly to find your guts were ripped out while you were in the nightmare. As your life force ebbs away and you fade painfully into oblivion, the killer - mockingly, haughtily, dishearteningly - removes his mask. Then you realize all this while you've been afraid of your own reflection in the mirror. Was I the person who stabbed myself in the back, unknowingly?
What prompted me to write this post? Perhaps the amount of resentment, sadness - disappointment? - that is now plain for all to see on the blog. Even the message on the bulletin board below the ever-changing banner seems like a mockery of the shadow RANDTS has become. But no, that still wasn't what hurt me the most.
It was a friend that I know. Or knew, depending on who you asked. A close friend. A good friend. Many months ago he inspired me, and many others, with a heart-warming tale of triumph in adversity of the worst kind. He shared with us a cheerful optimism that many others in his situation would be hard-pressed to display. He reminded us of the brittle fragility of life, and how each moment we take a breath is a moment to be savored as if it was our last. He told us the tough get going when the going gets tough. He shared with us the power of faith and love and family, and how these continue to be his pillars in life, providing him with the strength to pull through a life most others wouldn't consider worth living.
I saw him as a God, a hero, a true man among men. He inspired me, as he has undoubtedly inspired many others. I was touched by his sheer willpower and spirit, and looked to him as a guiding light when the world is descending into darkness.
It was only recently that I saw my hero give up hope. Not because he was at death's doorstep. Not because he suffered the loss of a family member. But because I failed to commit to the vision that I and two others had created. He gave up because I did too.
How else do you convey emotions in an email? Electrons cannot show you shed tears or distant laughter. Electrons moving at lightspeed don't know the meaning of a smile in a group photo, or the hidden jokes associated with the size of the blade you hold. Electrons shooting around the world and back can only do so much to send a message, but it is memories that do the rest of the work.
Mea culpa.
For awhile I held hands and rubbed shoulders with some of the most vibrant and unique people in the world. For awhile we traded inane stories, sexy pictures, lengthy essays, fiery rants, perfect pictures, informative articles, and so many more things. For awhile I was proud to call myself a RANDTSter...
...and honestly? I still am.
Perhaps it is time we gave this blog a little peace and quiet while we start looking in ourselves and seriously ask what it is we really want out of RANDTS.
Now, I think I know what I want. Maybe not a 100%, but even an inkling's good enough. I seriously have no idea what kind of response I can expect to this post. Regardless, the burden is mine to bear. It was my fault, and for that I apologize. I'm sorry I left in your hour of need. I'm sorry I shirked my responsibilities as founding father of RANDTS. I'm sorry I ignored the blog for so long.
But most of all, to all of you here who've been here with RANDTS and I from the start - especially Albert and Jaspreet - I'm sorry for hurting you, and for that I seek your forgiveness .
Lastly, I have this to say: call me idealistic, but even after the coldest darkest winter, flowers still break through the frost and blossom into majestic beauty, heralding the beginning of spring. I'm here hoping winter ends soon... and that spring will come with the dawn of the new sun. I'm ready to rebuild the ruins of RANDTS and start anew. After all, that's what spring is about, isn't it - nature getting a brand new start?
Thank you one and all.

I've always wanted to shoot portraits of friends of mine irregardless of their body size and facial features (even though some claimed that they're 'ugly', 'fat' and 'have pimples'). I wanted to take portraits of them so much that I promised them 'photoshoots' after I got myself a better camera with more custom settings, and when the opportunity was hurled at me, I wasted no time to start shooting.
The first photoshoot done this year (though not with my own SLR) is of Kimberly Tey, a college-mate whom I got to know better over a couple of months before, during and after classes. Although she initially hated me, and I thought she was arrogant, we're friends thanks to time, and of course, a special someone (not the lovey-dovey 'special'). Usually, we'll complete assignments and revise in the library before and after classes. However, with the arrival of my laptop, I've navigated away from the 'study' path, and she uses it to settle her business (like transferring and uploading files, blogging, etc.).
Anyway, before I start blogging issues that are off-topic, let me say that we took time off on the Thursday the 19th of July for a photoshoot. We planned to go to Tasik Permaisuri, but the location was cancelled off the plan due to *cough* certain reasons. Instead, the photoshoot was held in the safety and convenience of her home in Cheras. I purposely went to college to meet up with her, and together we had lunch in Petaling Street before taking the RapidKL bus to her home.
Little Indian girl.
Chinese uncle who sells roasted chestnuts.
As we're both real new to photoshoots, we did not have any idea what would happen at the end of the day (I didn't even put high expectations on the outcome. I just hoped they turned out alright). Nevertheless, we did find fun in being 'noobs', haha.
Presenting... *drum rolls* 'Faces of Kimberly'! (Note: She has a variety of facial expressions and all photos below were taken in the same afternoon)
Her father used to shoot slides of her when she was a child, and here's one of them... She looked like a boy, no?
Talk about imitating the past!
Yeah, we relaxed for less than half an hour before getting 'work' started as the day was oppressively hot. For Round 1, Kimberly did her own makeup, and borrowed her mom's red cheongsam...
Converted this into sepia to offer a different perspective...
Kimberly was unaware of me taking a candid shot of her, and man, she looked really happy!
Thoughts.
Unfortunately for both of us, the cleaners were watching us closely, and Kimberly's mom came back earlier than she thought. Hence, Round 1 only lasted for 10 minutes! *big sigh*
After rushing upstairs like convicts on the run, we got ready for Round 2. This time, I did makeup for her, and she was dressed in a retro tube dress and a black denim jacket. We went down to the playground to try a different location, and before we could get ourselves settled down, the place was fumigated! Choking from the fumes, we ran upstairs to continue Round 2. *big sigh*
Frames within frames
Candid shot of Kimberly. She was looking at her contact lens, haha...
Right after I released the shutter button, Kimberly felt somethingcoming out from her left eye. And guess what? Her contact lens came off! Gosh, we were unlucky! We had to get back to her apartment before things could get any worse...
So, after we got the blue makeup off from her face, and contact lens on her eyeball, we proceeded to Round 3. I wanted to capture some facial shots of her, and she gave the idea of painting a mask on her face. After Kim applied the black eyeshadow as base, I took over and 'painted' the other colours. She finished the mask off with shimmery lilac eye gel.
Feeling good in the air-conditioned room, we progressed to Round 5, where we used minimal makeup (just blusher)...
Just as she is.
She suddenly got an idea, and voila!
Big baby Kimberly!
And since Kimberly is rather obsessed about her weight (and possibly, looks), I decided to take a picture of her looking into a mirror...
*laughs*
Well, that's all I got to insert in my blog. My grattitude towards Kimberly for putting up with me for hours (and days). Without your co-operation and 'sporting-ness', we wouldn't be able to get some decent shots. Besides, we did enjoyed ourselves, eh? Haha, I quote Kimberly"'If this is how a model feels, then I'll lose alot of weight and be one instead." Were you serious, Kim?
Cheers, Hui Wen
P.S. Strangely, I didn't take any pictures with the DSLR from the 20th to the 26th... Also, my condolences to Kim, as her grandmother passed away right after we're done with the photoshoot...

According to Australians (research findings) masturbation is good for health. Want to protect yourself from prostate cancer? Just masturbate at least five times a week and your risk of developing prostate cancer later in life is slahed by a third. I know this sounds hedonistic but, keeping cancer at bay never felt so good. And yes this message applies to guys only unless...... well you know what.
This study may become the anathema to the message of religious leaders but I don't think people will care too much. I hope the more religious people don't find this disturbing. But, imagine your doctor telling you to masturbate everyday. That would be a shocker to some but I'm sure a smirk will emerge on many faces. The more daring one's will ask for technique. Surely there are many masturbators out there.
So, how does masturbation help reduce the risk of prostate cancer? Well, it's in the ejaculation. Ejaculation causes the bad stuff (carcinogens) to be expelled. You can say it's akin to some sort purification. Speaking of technique, the doctor will have to teach the correct method to achieve climax. Do it the wrong way and you'll run for comfort. However, don't think sex will just replace your masturbation. However, too much sex or being promiscuous isn't going to replace masturbation. In fact doing that may just finish you off later because of a 40% increase in the risk of developing prostate cancer. Beware of the microscopic creepy-crawlies. Speaking of that, why hasn't that hamsap Hugh Heffner die of cancer? Instead he still gets three girlfriends.
Looking back at history these study shows how stupid we used to be. Old medical writings claim that masturbation had horrible effects. The notable 16th century Swiss physician Samuel-Auguste Tissot warned of a "perceptible reduction of strength, of memory and even of reason; blurred vision, all the nervous disorders, all types of gout and rheumatism, weakening of the organs of generation, blood in the urine, disturbance of the appetite, headaches and a great number of other disorders". In the Victorian era, Westerners had an obsession with chastity belts especially for boys. These monstrosities forced the poor boys penis to be forever flaccid otherwise spikes would prick his member. The medical literature of the times describes procedures to prevent masturbation such as electric shock treatment, restraining devices like chastity belts and straitjackets, cauterization (ouch) or - as a last resort - wholesale surgical excision of the genitals (this is way too cruel and stupid).
Others had even wackier though less barbaric ideas. Eating a bland, meatless diet was advocated. This approach was promoted by Dr. John Harvey Kellogg (inventor of corn flakes) and Rev. Sylvester Graham (inventor of Graham crackers or today's cream crackers). Who in this day an age can believe that corn flakes and cream crackers was used to stop masturbation? It's too outlandish and ridiculous sounding. Too bad I don't know of Asian history. Perhaps people here are too secretive.
Guys will now go ahead and masturbate...............
P.S: Girls, lactating (breastfeeding) flushes out cancer causing chemicals from the breast. Anyway, there was a stupid fatwa (it was later withdrawn) from Egypt. It was stated that a man could be close proximity to an unmarried woman if she breast feeds him five times a day. Asinine!

No, don't bother to clean your glasses, you did not read the title wrongly. I initially did not want to post this, but Jaspreet insists... Sorry, its a little longer than what I would normally post... Feel free to ignore...
Once again, I find myself blindly surfing the Internet. And once again, fate leads me to Adrina's blog. She is a friend of mine. Maybe cause her blog always provokes me to type something, or maybe cause my finger itchy.
Anyways, before I start getting to the meat, I just want to say... CLAYMORE IS A F**KING COOL MANGA/ANIME AND EVERYONE SHOULD DITCH NARUTO/BLEACH/WTV AND GO READ IT!!!
Ok, anyways, I have decided to waste my time typing a response to the discussion put forth by Adrina, which is, What is the Purpose of Armpit hair? Here is a portion of her post, for those too lazy to click and wait for the page to load.
I'd like to think that everything in this world is created for a purpose. From the important stuff like oxygen, trees and water to the more trivial ones like the birds and the bees (pun intended).
Heck, I can even think of the purpose of wrinkles. Women with wrinkles symbolize old age, that they are not as fertile as the wrinklesless and therefore, potential mates would not be easily attracted to them.
But, why the hell do we have armpit hair?? I would understand if it guys we're talking about; they would claim that armpit hair makes them look more macho and manly. But what about us girls? We are always trying to get rid of these fugly unwanted hair. Some of those who are lucky may find that they do not have it. But most of us do as soon as we reach puberty!!
It makes us uglier, but not ugly enough to scare of rapists. If it's a little bit uglier, we can use it to scare them (the potential rapists) off. Hehe, imagine someone trying to rape you and all you're trying to do is to open your arms wide enough to show him your armpit hair. And once visible, the rapist would cover his eyes with his hands because the ugliness is hurting his eyeballs. That's when you use the opportunity to kick him in the nuts and run away.
But no! Armpit hair has to be of of medium ugliness. It's like God (assuming that there is one) was halfway creating mankind and something more important cropped up that he left us with that pile of unwanted fugly hair.
Or maybe there is use for armpit hair after all. Does anyone know? Can you enlighten me? If not I will continue to stand by my notion that armpit hair is useless and does not deserve its place in this world. This world is already so saturated with unwanted waste and pollution substances that we do not need any more useless things.
As an overview, lets just look at the points put forth by Adrina. She claims that its apparently useless to girls, as they make them fugly, and can potentially scare off rapists with them. And for the guys, its supposedly a macho sex symbol or something.
Lets take a look at the 'useless' aspect. To first confirm if its useless or not, we must hence first make sure that is it useful or not. To see if the armpit hair is useful or not, we must first have a general idea on the the purpose of hair.
As we all know, and learned from Science Form 3, hair on the skin is meant to keep us warm, due to the accumulation of air space between them, which is a heat insulator and so prevents lose of heat. Hence, it is necessary to have hair on the head/chest/arms/legs, to reduce this lose.
Now, taking into account the armpit, it is very evident that that location is a MAJOR source of heat lose/ contains a lot of blood vessels. Why? Cause it sweats a LOT. Even when we walk around, and our head haven't start sweating, already our armpits are sweating. Hence, it is therefore necessary to have hair on the armpit to prevent this lose. To further reinforce my point, lets take the head as an example. Its a major heat sink, as our brain is there, and it works 24/7 and looses more heat than any part of the body, its only obvious that it is also the part of our entire body that is most concentrated in hair.
Ok, that sounds contradictory, but what I mean is that the armpit loses lots of heat, cause there is lots of blood there, and it sweats to cool it down, but the hair is there to prevent excessive lose, IF it is cold. Capiche?
Hence, I proved my point that armpit hairs are first and foremost, NOT useless, as it serves a purpose, no matter how obscure it is. Ya, we don't really need hair on our legs as well (some people don't have them) and in Malaysia, we don't even need hair at all since we don't exactly need to conserve heat, its a f**king natural oven here. But heck, its there, for a reason.
Some of you may rebut that instead of helping to conserve heat, they actually INDUCE the lose of heat, due to friction when running, walking, swinging your hand and stuff. Yes, I agree that marathon runners DO shave their armpit hairs to do so, but if you ask me, unless you enjoy wearing a f**king leotard when running/walking/shopping, or you walk with your hand sticking to your torso like R2D2, I see no reason why they should do so.
Next, regarding the concept of it being fugly to women and macho to men, I think that its all a matter of point of view, or personal preference, rather than a widely accepted opinion. First off, I don't think its macho on men. If that is so, every female should be clinging to the mamak stall uncle near my place who also incidentally have a ton of chest hair, rather than the near hairless Keanu Reeves.
Besides that, ya, its not exactly sexually attractive on the girls, but you can say the exact same thing about pubic hair. Go here (don't click if you are underaged or easily offended or is a 'yer, pr0n is disgustiiing...' b*tch/d*ck) and you can see tons of westerners complaining about pubic hair in their asian pr0n clips. Apparently, to them, its disgusting. But we don't exactly hear girls HERE complaining about their pubic hair, or questioning if they should shave it or not, do we? Yes, they do question those in the states, watch American Pie 3...
So once more, no, this is NOT to rebut Adrina's blog, but I just think I should respond regarding the uselessness of armpit hair, and also regarding the subjective unattractiveness of them. OMG, don't get me wrong, armpit hairs do NOT turn me on...
kk ciao

;;The picture below shows two of the three wind chimes hanging in my house's veranda. There is something accumulating on the red butterfly wind chime. Guess what it is?
Well, it's actually an unfinished nest of some sort of weaver bird. Any birders here? Please help me identify its species. My mom mistook it for a hummingbird because of its long beak and fast flapping wings. A search on the WWW also has been fruitless so far. I feel quite stupid for not knowing what bird it is.
The bird has been diligently trying to build a nest since Sunday. A twig, a leaf or a thread at a time it slowly weaves a home. Only one piece is brought in at a time because of its small beak, then it's off again in search of new piece. Such diligence should be emulated by us! Imagine if everyone puts in that much effort in serving the entire world. Think about it.
For a bird to willingly choosing my home as a nesting is truly an honour. RANDTS will be given constant updates on the progress of this bird's sacrifice.
P.S: The photos were taken by a noob photographer using a bad camera.

This is a little piece of insight I received from the PERMATA (PETRONAS Management Training) camp I recently had in Casa Rachado, Port Dickson, from the 18th to the 22nd of June, 2007. Tell me what you think about it.
How many doors are there in your life? Think about it. How many doors have you seen in your life that you can think about? Perhaps you remember the crib door from your youth - or the great big glass doors at the office where your dad worked. Or that ominous wooden door that leads into the examination hall where you did your SPM.
Think about all the doors in your life. Perhaps when you entered varsity life from high school, the change of pace came to you as a liberation. That's one door - the door to a new stage in your life. Or maybe you made a change in yourself one day, something for the better - another door, the door to positive change.
What is a door for? What is its purpose? Most would say security, or privacy. It guarantees your safety (most of the time). When the lock is broken, it feels as if even the merest wind will push it open. You can't sleep at night, knowing your privacy is not as guaranteed as it was before, when the lock worked.
A door might also serve to restrict access sometimes, and also to provide a first impression to new visitors. When a wooden door is old or broken, some people use it as firewood. Others use it as a raft. More creative people draw and spray it with graffiti, giving it new life as an art canvas.
Then think of what we normally do to doors. When we're in a bad mood, we slam the door. At times we release our anger on the door. We punch, kick, bang, bash, hammer, scrape and tear at the door. We clobber it relentlessly till we need to catch our breaths and take a look at the damage we've done. Then remorsefully, we step away and return to our lives, slightly less pressured than before.For all that it has done throughout its life for you, it meets its end in a way that is cruel and uncaring.
Think of the one door in your life. The one door that provides you with security and comfort. Privacy, even. The one door you can't sleep at night for, knowing that it doesn't work as well as before, or is slightly spoiled. The door that protects you despite everything you do to it in anger.
Think about it. When you were young, one door bore you into this earth, and watched with tearful eyes and radiant smiles as it cradled you for the first time. This door ran its fingers over your head, cooing gently as you gazed at this new world around you. And somehow, your instincts told you this door was the one responsible for your life.
The door watched as you learned to walk and talk. It gave gentle encouragement to you every step of the way, and protected you fiercely from that which might harm you. In the dark of night, when a lone mosquito sought you as prey, the door did not just chase it away, but crushed it that it may never return to hurt you again.
As you entered school for the first time, this door fawned over every inch of you, fussing over your uniform and books and hair. You cried when the door brought you to this strange new place full of other children just like you. And though the door might not say anything at times, it prayed for you silently each time you were away from home. It prayed that you may find new friends and gain much knowledge. The door waits for you till you come home, cupping your cheek and helping you with your bag. It asks, "How was your first day at school?"
Gradually you grew bigger and bigger. The door continued to look after you as you progressed from primary to secondary. How proud it was of you! It shuttled you back and forth, providing you with the best things it could give - all for your sake. You grew into a useful person, learning more and more with each passing day.
Soon, the door realizes that time has passed so quickly, and you move on to the new daunting world of varsity life. How would you cope on your own? it wondered. It cried as the day drew near for you to leave home for the next stage in your life. The door watched as you left, tears brimming in its eyes and fear and worry lodged deep in its heart.
And everyday you were away, whether you were studying or hanging out or even blogging, this one door prayed for your safety and health. It prayed that you may aspire to even greater heights, and that you may continue to receive all the best things while you were not home. It prayed for you, and even in the wee hours of the night, the door woke to lucid dreams, sweat beading on its forehead, but it still prayed even as it wept as it realized you were not home, but away in your new place.
And it is this same door we kick and punch and scream at when we are angry. We hate it at times for not understanding us. We slam it when the mood strikes us. And when this door grows old, we throw it out with the trash, some people even using it for firewood. For all that it has done throughout its life for you, it meets its end in a way that is cruel and uncaring.
By now, you would have realized that this door is actually symbolically representing your parents. Think about all that the door has done for you. Think back about what you have done in return. And think about all that you will do for this door in future. Will you savor and love this door for all eternity? Or will you consign it to the bonfire and leave it to burn by itself in the night?
Think about it.

It's rather funny to be inspired when you're in deep frustration. But that was what happened to me on the 28th of May.
I thought of quitting photography- to banish my dreams and hopes, and to journey as far as possible from the grips of it, but something called inspiration struck me right at the core. Instead of flinging my camera to the wall with fury, or plainly ignoring it, I took pictures with it. And... though I didn't think much while pressing the shutter button, I'm quite glad with the outcome of the pictures (and even more so after I've post-processed them in Photoshop just for fun).
That's the core of a guava rested on the back of my law notes, which were used to cover the surface of my journal. Looking at this picture after some time, I came up with the decision that it looks scary. It seems like the poor guava core is undergoing some sort of postmortem surgery in a fruit morgue, and the colour filters I've layered on the original shot certainly didn't help to turn things brighter... Made the atmosphere more sinister, it did.
Quite sickly looking colours I've chosen, but I like the shadows on my arm and hand.
A play of light and shadows. This one reminds me of shadow monsters and their allies of things that go bump in the night...
It was so difficult to take the picture of my legs. I had to lie down on my bed, place my feet on the wall, position them next to the light source, and keep still while I press the shutter button (the shutter lag obviously didn't help). As a result, my legs look shorter and stumpier, but I got the (sort of) shot I wanted. Additionally, I've chosen green-blue filters, as this brings memories of mermaids and their tails, haha. So the green-blue filters to represent the colours of the ocean...
Before taking this shot, I switched the white balance of the camera from 'cloudy' to 'incandescent'. This picture has been rotated clockwise, and saved in Photoshop after a minor adjustment of Curves. The lamp looks like a moon here, and I have this picture displayed as the 'avatar' in Windows Live Messenger currently...
Interestingly, Joon-Wye commented that my fingers formed a heart. I didn't notice that until he told me so... =) Also, he noted that I like to take pictures of body parts, haha. But I don't think he's right.
I shot my foot. 'Nuff said.
It was certainly intriguing to know that whilst dwelling in frustration and teetering on the edge of depression due to photography, I took part in it. I wanted to pause the process of taking photographs out of inspiration, habit and fun, but I failed to surrender almost entirely. It's as if I can't escape from the field itself.
I do believe it wouldn't be easy to let go of all of this. So do I, or do I not, persevere? This question has been lingering in my mind for weeks, and I chose not to give much thought to it since too much thinking often results in a melange of headaches and heartaches. Even though negative thoughts swirled in my mind and hazed it with confusion, one thing was made astonishing clear. My greatest enemy was, and always will, be me, myself and I.

I’ve always strived to be independent in making decisions involving my own life. Time and again I try my very best to give reasoning in my very own perspective of things; but, caught up in the middle of all that confusion, I always find myself being affected by people and their opinions and wants. In being individualistic, at the same time, I take importance in trying to listen to other's perspectives to make them happy. In the end, I do not know if I’m happy because I truly am or I am trying to make people happy. Is making people happy, making oneself happy?
You might have gotten yourself confused in the past sentence but I do not blame you for the confusion in your mind. It is as confusing as it sounds.
Just a few days back, I was questioned regarding decisions I made in life. I do not know the person’s perspective of questioning me in such a manner; but to me, every single action I did was questioned and I felt like I had to doubt my very own decisions to place them in comparison to the expectations of others. Friends exist to advise, no doubt. However, I think that there reaches a point that we should not impose our opinions unto others, no matter how strong our stance is; especially the matter does not involve health or money related issues like taking drugs or borrowing money from loan sharks. (That kind of imposing is understandable.)
Sometimes, people around us think that we can do better. They tell us, “This will look good for you,” or, “that looks superb on you.” Sometimes you very reluctantly say, “Yes” because you care about the opinions of others more than yours… I know at this very point, people think that I am weak in my opinion and that I am unable to assert my perspective of things. I do not think so. Fact is, I do so in so many things.
Humans cling to others, so attached and unable to accept reclusion. We want to be part of something so bad that we are willing to bend some personal rules and personal opinions though they hurt so badly. I know it is inevitable, you know so too though on the outer you may stand up for individuality and asserting personal opinions. Now what I have in question: Where is the cut of point? How will you put your foot down after so long of playing along?
Now, comes the part you say, “Stay true to yourself from the beginning.”
Then here comes the part whereby I say, “Problems evolve, they don’t just happen.”
I’m sure that everyone is questioning about the dilemma I am in. It is not a dilemma per se. I am merely disgruntled in certain aspects of thoughts and decisions and opinions of people around me. I have my limits though my threshold is very high. I am hard headed, but sometimes people should watch their words. I am very open minded, but sometimes people just don’t talk about certain stuff; and when they don’t, don’t push it. Again, I am open minded about fitting in; but sometimes I want to be me.
This might not be the best article to kick-start my writings here; but listening to perspectives on things is something I like to do. Solutions may be hung on a string just before our eyes, but the human eye is blinded by so much ignorance, oblivion and plain stress.
Lastly, here's an old poem of mine. To tell you the truth, it was written for my ex-boyfriend. I think you'll be able to figure it out. But this article has nothing to do with him lar. The poem just fits.
His parody
A parody,
One about life,
She took it, and pasted it,
to humour and laugh.
When it ended,
The audience cheered.
If they only knew the tears,
to all that was told.
The stage bright and lively,
shone in pride and glory,
to what seemed a story,
about a man who never knew,
the word happy.
Never did anyone know,
or think,
how it'd feel being him,
something that real.

;;Hi people! Sorry for not posting as frequently as I should, considering I'm probably one of the "free-er" members of RANDTS. Anyway, this is a random thought which I'd like your opinion on...
Last night, I had a pretty good sms conversation from 10p.m. till 12a.m.. Bear in mind that I only had ONE conversation with the person previously. That verbal conversation was on mundane matters i.e. tuition, school, etc.
The question now is: will we talk as freely face-to-face like how we sms-ed? I find myself being able to chat with certain people online or via sms but have nothing to say when meeting them in person. Why is this so?

;;With just a little bit of inspiration, you can write whatever you want, do whatever you want, dream whatever you want as long as it serves a good purpose and pose no harm to society. I think other RANDTSters need some inspiration to be back on track.
Earlier (weeks ago?), I had a chat with Joe. I talked about reluctant I was towards RANDTS and he told me to write something about inspiration. And, here I am, writing about inspiration. Funny thing, isn't it? What is inspiration? Is it the one little kick in life that gets you going on in doing great things or perhaps its just another spice which keeps the essence in life flowing? It can't be seen and its feeling can hardly be described. It is really amazing(to me) how one event can place great importance to someone to continue striving.
I've been wondering. Where do we go or who do we look for when we need inspiration? One may be inspiring to me but might not be inspiring to another. At moments when we need that jolt, how do we get it? Should we wait until we hit rock bottom, then only do we start to make more effort?
Actually, I've posted this in my blog but I decided to share it here; with you guys. After editing two times in an hour, I managed to come up with this. I was inspired by a couple of friends then to write about love; sad love story anyone? I know it sounds kind of cheesy but this sure can give some of you a good laugh especially when it's coming from someone like me. :D
Banjir Cinta Yang Sepi
Malam berlalu…
Yang membanjiri mindaku;
Adalah memori cinta…
Cinta yang sedih;
Cinta yang pedih;
Cinta yang ku nanti;
Cinta yang tiada kembali.
Tidak mu rasa;
Tidak ku paksa;
Tidak ku benci;
Tidak ku cari.
Bak dicuri, bak diketepi…
Nantian yang tiada akhirnya;
Kepahitan yang tiada perginya;
Terukir di sudut hatiku;
Perasaan yang tiada pun tahu
tapi aku…
Tidak ku sesal;
Tidak ku kesal;
Hanya ku kenang;
Banjir cinta yang sepi…
