I Need A Girlfriend
Yes. This is an advertisement.
Anyways, as some of you may know, I just got back from NS last week. Sorry, was unable to post anything, cause I just recently moved to Puchong and did not have an Internet connection until yesterday. Will post them soon.
But ya, back to the topic. I need a girlfriend.
So if any girls out there, preferably of Chinese descent, not particularly religious, more than 15 years yet less than 19, intellectual yet not bookworm-ish, less than 170cm in height, can tolerate curses, sexual discussions, and debate on both logical and nonsensical topics, not particularly flirty, and is bored or need someone to disturb you non-stop with SMS and phone calls for the next 2-3 months, and e-mail you for not apparent reason but just to say i lub u everyday after that, and believes that beauty is more than skin deep, give me a nudge.
No Jaspreet, you fit none of the criteria above, so keep your hands in your pants XD.

...who just had someone she fancied say bye to her right after school!!!!! *BIG smile*
one thing i like about my highschool is that, there is form 6. and when there is form 6, new eye candies would come :D ... hahaa.. eye candies. what a way to describe it.
to those who dont know what eye candy means, it means, in my own way of defining it, DROPDEADGORGEOUSGUYSTHATIWILLGOGAGAON. hahahaha. okay, so go on, laugh now. you already got the funny bit. ;)
but then again, the thing i dislike about highschool is that fact that...
a) everyone would know who you like/fancy,
b) stupid uniform that makes me look fat; and
c) stupid uniform that makes me look fat.
you just cant get tired with the uniform making me look fat thing. bleh!
but then again, who cares. at least, he said bye!!!!!
jasmine is haaapppyyyy.... you should be happy for her too ;)

;;Yay, my first rant job here! Sorry Jaspreet, its not the one you asked me to post.
Anyways, Jaspreet asked me to post my first rant job, which is basically a whole bunch of rubbish that just popped in my head out of nowhere, and apparently I posted it somewhere on the Internet, and Jas read it, and he liked it. God knows why.
Then, here I am on RANDTS, and Jas asked me to type a post regarding the advantage of Quantity over Quality of sex (specifically speaking, its the advantage of quantity of ejaculations over the length of one ejaculation, meaning how many times you can do it, instead of how long you can hold). But then I was thinking, isn't it kinda rude to jump straight into the sex train for a first post?
And again, considering the fact that I only know Albert and Jas among the 18 RANDTSters, I don't want to do something to make myself be perceived as a sex maniac as a first impression. Or maybe I already have. Oh well.
Anyhow, this is MY style of typing. I don't use flashy words. I don't use deep vocabulary like Jaspreet, so you can keep your dictionary and close that tab for Merriam Webster online. I don't like deep, philosophical crap that will blind you for the rest of the day. I go straight to the point and if I DO twist my words, don't think too much about it, it may just be because I am typing so fast I don't realize what I am talking about. Curses, preferably Chinese, are my forte, but for the sake of underaged and sensitive readers, I will censor them, and Jaspreet asked me to keep them to a bare minimum.
Ok, I have been typing 3 paragraphs full of rubbish and where the h3ll is the content?
Ok, I know, I know, so lets start.
As I was saying, I was kinda thinking about what to post as a first post. Then I saw yiwei's neglected post (it only has 1 comment... seriously... wtf???) about her relationship with this one lucky dude through SMS.
Then it got me thinking about this friend of mine who apparently got his current girlfriend, who incidentally, are both my classmates. The funny thing is, outside, you don't see them talking to each other at all. Even now. And sad to say, as a relatively close friend to the guy, suffice to say things aren't going well now that they are serious... and actually get together outside of their phone screens.
Then it also got me thinking about my OWN experience (cheh, made it sound like I so pro relationship). Long story short, suffice to say that SMS, pixels, and emoticons blinded me, and I wasted RM30 of credit on her, and a further RM106 for a confession which brought my dignity down to negative, and took more balls than the number of goals Beckham scored (no, I am talking about balls as in the thing that me and Albert has, but Jaspreet lost XD), and at the end of the day, got rejected flat in the face.
So here I am, fully understanding yiwei's situation, and surprised not many people actually bothered to address it. All I want to say is, with the advent of technology and virtual realities, our social lives have totally changed. No longer do you have to meet a person to know a person. Sometimes, a person's character is much more apparent when they are in their virtual alter egos. I, for one, actually enjoy blogging and typing rubbish in forums not only because I know no one cares if I tell them to anyone in reality that I know, but also because I can't say in words what I do want to say, without taking time and filtering/proof reading it in my head first.
To a lot of people, when you see me in reality, I am an @ssh0l3. Ask Jaspreet.
And on the Internet? Oh well, you will soon find out. Chances are, I am still an @ssh0l3.
Anyways, addressing yiwei's situation. Lets just say that, it obviously isn't easy actually communicating with the other fellow (lets just call him Hunny Bunny. Why? I don't know, maybe cause I am a retard). But suffice to say that, if you really do want to get serious with Hunny Bunny, you obviously have to get to know him in reality. Come on, don't give me that Maple girlfriend, boyfriend bullsh*t. Everyone knows it will never work out. Its just like virtual sex, fun, but pointless.
That is one barrier you have to go through, if you really want get associated with Hunny Bunny, and that is to communicate with him as how you would to your friends in real life. The other barrier you have to go through is the personality misalignment.
As I said earlier, people act differently on the phone/Internet. So you may know Hunny Bunny as a nice, intelligent, gentleman, bla bla yadda yadda, but you must also understand it may only be an image he is trying to portray himself in. OR it could also be who he really is deep inside, and in reality, he may seem like an @ssh0l3, but he may be nice and all inside. So its up to you to find out how he really is like, and that takes time AND real communication. If he acts differently/may not be as introverted/extroverted as he seems, then its up to you to be patient and see him as who he really is.
All in all, I think that its nothing to be ashamed of/scared to have a virtual based relationship. After all, its still human nature, that is to say, reproduction and continuation of the species. As to how one approaches it, that is strictly a personal method, but I think that I should give my own two cents regarding the matter.
Hey hey! Don't get me wrong, I never claimed to be a relationship expert or Casanova, but I don't want anyone else to blindly waste RM106 and time, aights?
Thats all I have to say for now. I know, I know, it bored your nuts off Jaspreet, but maybe I will post something spicier next time, k? Hey, you DID ask me to minimize the cursing, so what can I say?
Ciao all, I love everyone non-sexually/homosexually

;;With just a little bit of inspiration, you can write whatever you want, do whatever you want, dream whatever you want as long as it serves a good purpose and pose no harm to society. I think other RANDTSters need some inspiration to be back on track.
Earlier (weeks ago?), I had a chat with Joe. I talked about reluctant I was towards RANDTS and he told me to write something about inspiration. And, here I am, writing about inspiration. Funny thing, isn't it? What is inspiration? Is it the one little kick in life that gets you going on in doing great things or perhaps its just another spice which keeps the essence in life flowing? It can't be seen and its feeling can hardly be described. It is really amazing(to me) how one event can place great importance to someone to continue striving.
I've been wondering. Where do we go or who do we look for when we need inspiration? One may be inspiring to me but might not be inspiring to another. At moments when we need that jolt, how do we get it? Should we wait until we hit rock bottom, then only do we start to make more effort?
Actually, I've posted this in my blog but I decided to share it here; with you guys. After editing two times in an hour, I managed to come up with this. I was inspired by a couple of friends then to write about love; sad love story anyone? I know it sounds kind of cheesy but this sure can give some of you a good laugh especially when it's coming from someone like me. :D
Banjir Cinta Yang Sepi
Malam berlalu…
Yang membanjiri mindaku;
Adalah memori cinta…
Cinta yang sedih;
Cinta yang pedih;
Cinta yang ku nanti;
Cinta yang tiada kembali.
Tidak mu rasa;
Tidak ku paksa;
Tidak ku benci;
Tidak ku cari.
Bak dicuri, bak diketepi…
Nantian yang tiada akhirnya;
Kepahitan yang tiada perginya;
Terukir di sudut hatiku;
Perasaan yang tiada pun tahu
tapi aku…
Tidak ku sesal;
Tidak ku kesal;
Hanya ku kenang;
Banjir cinta yang sepi…

;;Complicated. Why do people say that life is complicated? Life is life. Life is not complicated, or is it?
Under what circumstances is life complicated? When you can't figure out something? or when you get tangled in some situation and you just don't know what to do?
Imagine that you are in this situation where you like a person who happens to like another person who happens to be your close friend and happens to have a relationship with someone else and likes another person at the same time. The person who he or she likes at the same time happens to be a close friend of the person you like. The person you like knows that you like him/her. Your close friend, however, do not know that you like the person who likes him/her and therefore, keep on pouring stories to you.
Is this complicated? Perhaps the way I put it is complicated but what would you do if you were to be in a situation like this?
Multiple Choice Answer:
A. Continue to like the person you like.
B. Stop liking the person you like and stop making things complicated.
C. Tell your close friend that you actually like the person who likes your close friend.
D. Do nothing and let them untangle themselves unless there is nothing to untangle.
I just made everything sound complicated and confusing. Maybe I'm just confused and complicated myself?

Current mood: Lost and disillusioned (Wordpress is down, so I can't blog in mine)
Just so you know, I've just completed five out of six exam papers and my last one isn't due until this Saturday. So, I have about three days to catch up with Geology. The last examination I had was Statics of Rigid Bodies, and I must admit it wasn't an easy exam at all. Not that the examination was hard, but it was because we could not really comprehend what our lecturers have taught. Somehow, we found it quite hard to understand too many different ways of solving a problem at one go.[...] how love feels is definitely much to the individual's taste and liking.
Nevertheless, I'm not here to bore you about my examinations. As far as I'm concerned, once they're over, they are really over. There's no use thinking about them at all.
I've been watching the 23rd episode of Heroes (that's the last episode for the first season), and a few scenes struck my mind. I've also been chatting with a university mate whom I've not been meeting for quite some time, and we spoke about how things have generally gone wrong this semester.
The first thing I'd like to talk about is love. In Heroes episode 23, there is a mention about a person who is able to love unconditionally. It strikes me that all of us are able to love someone, but how many can love unconditionally? You can interpret love as love between a guy and a girl, sibling love, parental love, love between friends, whatever type of love you like, but how many of us can claim that when we love someone, it is unconditional? That means there is no particular expectation or perhaps even preferences from the other parties? It's almost impossible. No matter how much we love a particular community or individual, we would definitely expect something in return. Let's take a love between a guy and a girl as an example. When both individuals fall in love, you would expect the other party to stay faithful and loyal, wouldn't you? It might not count as a condition, but let us take that as just a small example.
I have a few people asking me what love is. To be honest, I cannot really tell you what love exactly is. It is not something that everybody feels in common, meaning to say different people view love in a very much different perspective. We know how is it like to feel happy, sad, disappointed, but how love feels is definitely much to the individual's taste and liking.
We could say that love is a strong emotion where it does not involve a single individual, but at least two or more. Love is often followed by interest in that particular community or individual, and as the saying goes, love is often blind. Yes, no matter how sound your mind is, when one is in love, your vision is blinded. You cannot deny me that, especially those who have been in love. So, here I leave you with all your thoughts about love. Much has been said in a lot of our posts on love, and I've got a lot to say about this subject. I've written three posts on it in my blog: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 (proves how much I've got to say about love) and it is all based on my opinions purely. You may or may not agree with me.
Moving onto another topic now. Most of us have already moved into a new phase of life: life of a student pursuing tertiary education. In other words, most of us are already in college or university; some of us have already started our undergraduate studies (Jared, Joe, I Brian [Gungrave1988], Albert [Comrade Cripple], etc.) and we are bound to undergo some adaptations in life. For those whose university is far from home, or those who live within the campus, friends are like the second family. I don't know how you would view your friends in university if you are living within the campus, but to me, friends are like my second family.
I'd say they're like my second family because it is friends whom I would turn to for just about anything, whether I need advice, help, or just to talk. You couldn't imagine your university life without friends, could you?
So, what is the main purpose of having friends? In fact, what is the main role of a friend? Is it just to keep each other company? Is it just to share problems? Is it just for social purposes? Is it to ask for assistance when one is in trouble? Is it to be there for you when you are down, upset, betrayed, etc.? Well, it is pretty much so, but to me, a friend is more than that.
Most of us would not think highly about friends because they are just like people who co-exist with us and work together with us. But in my opinion, a friend is one who is able to change your life. Whether you like it or not, at some point of your life, you would feel that friends mould your personality. People say that parents do most of the moulding. True enough, but we (friends) have the tendency and even ability to be more influential, and a lot of people tend to exemplify their friends, emulate them. Friends can also determine who you really are.But in my opinion, a friend is one who is able to change your life.
But there comes a problem when one cannot determine which friend is loyal and which is not. There are some friends who even tell their close ones that they will not desert them no matter what the circumstances are, or that if their friends fall, they would either pull them back up or fall together with them (the "If you drown, I drown with you" kind of attitude). Yes, even I have said such words before, but to the many of those who utter such words, how many can keep them?
The main dilemma to a lot of people would be to tell apart which friends are true and loyal ones and which are not. That only you can decide for yourself. There are many friends around you, and you alone have the capability to tell apart true and loyal friends from the not.
So, what is a true friend? Or who is a true friend? In my context, a true friend is one who cares about his friends and is not afraid to tell people the truth, even though it hurts like a double-edged sword. I appreciate friends who are daring enough to tell me what wrong have I done straight in my face. Sure enough, I'd be hurt by such words, but knowing that they are kindly intended, give their words some thought and you would be hurt no more. Besides, better to hurt me and bring me back to reality than to let me continue suspend in the world of fantasy, isn't it?
As a friend, I believe that I have a very important role to play. I treasure my friends very much for my circle of friends is particularly small. My principle in friendship is to maintain a "How can I help you?" type of attitude. I love my friends just as much as I love my family. I feel that my friends are equally as important. Besides achieving academic excellence in university, it's friends who are keeping me alive; it's friends who are also giving me the reason to study in where I am now.
All these are just my two cents worth. Any difference in opinions are much appreciated in the comments section.

i never did understand what ‘love’ is.
i mean, duh, i know what it is. when you talk about family love or friends loving each other, that i understand. but i just dont understand what gf-bf love is all about. it sounds too cliche and too overrated.
whenever i go to friendster profiles, i’ll always see stuff written in their comments’ section.
’sayang, i love you sooooo much.’
‘you are the joy in my life, the light of blablablala’…
you know how it goes.
and i’ll be like, ermmmmm… okaaaayy.
i mean, its not that i dont appreciate them loving each other or whatever, but i mean, i just dont get it. i do get what ‘care‘ or ‘sayang‘ means, but what i dont get is what ‘love‘ means. i know i sound all cliche and mushy at this point, but i mean, thats just it, i dont get it.
i was at a point where i had a boyfriend and was in a lovey-dovey mood. but then again, looking at friends and stuff, they’re basically addicted to their girlfriend and boyfriend. and im like thinking to myself, “omgsh.. should i be addicted to my boyfriend? should i post his picture all over my friendster profile and just brag about how great he is at kissing?“. but i dont feel like doing that, so then, im like thinking to myself, “am i a bad gifriend?“
i mean, they’re like sooo fucking in love, and here i am, laughing at how big his nose is instead of saying, how i adore his nose being big. you know what i mean? so basically, i just dont get it.
and im never a mushy person. i mean, i am, but not to the extreme mushy. i may be all romantic at some point, but ultimately, i dont like to be all mushy 24/7, it sounds too fake. i mean, i know he loves me and i love him, so must i be all, “oh sweetheart. from the very first time i lay my eyes on you, i knew you were my prince charming that has filled my emptiness in me.“. hahha.
yuck. that exactly my point. yuck.
but its like, whatever. if my thinking of a relationship should be all wacky, funny and romanticly silly, then i will go on thinking like that. being all mushy and stuff is soooo yesterday.
but then again, you are welcome to act that way if it suits you best. ;)

I've actually written this post in my personal blog. However, I feel that this is worth sharing to the rest of you here, so I've decided to just copy and paste everything that I wrote in my blog here.
In this worldly kingdom, is there anyone who loves you more, besides God? Do you know that since the day you were born, you were showered with love like you never had before. And during those lowest moments, this seemingly “confining” individual to some is always there for you, ready to pick you up even before you fall.A mother’s love is more than just priceless.
I’m talking about none other than a mother’s love. Have you ever realised how willing our mothers are to sacrifice even their lives for our sake? I have witnessed myself how many mothers died just to save their children and protect them from harm. To me, nobody is greater than my own mother. Looking back in my previous years, it makes me feel rather ungrateful at the moments when I forsook her due to certain conflicts that had arisen before.
All over these years, we could have been very much numb towards how much our mothers really love us. We could have been very much unaware about how much our mothers miss us while we are away. We could also have been very much oblivious about how much our mothers long for our presence when they are dealing with some hard times.
Now I know. Ever since I came into university, I realised how attached I am to my mother. I have come to know how much my mother means to me. It has come to a point where I foresaw that I could not continue living without my mother. You may not believe this, but I am indeed shedding tears while writing this. I am indeed very gratified and blessed to have a mother.
It breaks my heart especially to see children lose their mothers especially when their mothers sacrificed their lives to ensure the survival of their children. I have witnessed an incident when a mother fell from a multi-storey building (due to an earthquake) with her child. She died from the fall, but her child survived because its fall was cushioned by her dead mother. It has changed my perspective that when people ask me if there is anyone who is willing to die for you, I would say, "Yes, my mother is willing to sacrifice herself if I’m in any form of jeopardy.”
I watched the movie, “The Passion of Christ” and there were two scenes that struck me real hard about how wonderful a mother’s love can be. I intended to cut out the two scenes and post them here, but as the wireless connection is down, I shall do it some other time. One particular scene was when Mary the mother of Jesus saw Jesus fell onto the floor while carrying His cross. This made Mary recalled the moments when Jesus fell down during His toddler days. Instinctively, she abandoned her work immediately and ran to Him. Upon reaching Him, she said “I’m here.”
Now, seeing that Jesus fell down with the cross on top of Him, her instincts drove her to run, with her hands stretched out towards Jesus. She forced herself through the crowd, knelt down next to Jesus, and with her hands on His face, delivered the same cradling touch, crying “I’m here.”
Another scene is when Jesus was already crucified. Mary when towards Him, kissed His blood-soaked legs, stepped back and said, “Flesh of my flesh, heart of my heart. My son, let me die with you!” Such was her love for Him that she was so attached to Him. It broke her heart very much to see her own son, innocent and blameless, to be crucified, but she felt so powerless and helpless. She felt so bad of not being able to protect Him that she even pleaded to die with Him. She must have wanted to share the pain He was experiencing.
A mother’s love is more than just priceless. It is the most valuable gift that anybody can get. Love melts the heart, but a mother’s love melts not only the heart, it melts the soul.
Unfortunately, we as children often overlook the sacrifices that our mothers have done for us. Is there anyone reading this who dare to proclaim in public that they have neither forsaken nor disobeyed their mothers? As the saying goes, “If there is anyone who is not with sin, let him cast the first stone.”
Do you know how much your mother loves you? You will know how much your mother loves you when you see your mother trying in vain to hide away when she is crying, whether it is due to happiness, sadness, frustration and so on.
My mother (let me just say this as an example. No bragging intended) is indeed a strong woman with a strong will in anything she does. Throughout my life, I have only seen her crying twice. I saw her crying when I was five years old, but I was too young to understand anything, therefore I didn’t shed tears. Last year, I saw her crying again because my parents had a bad argument. Her tears kept flowing and as I stayed with her, my tears started to well up, too. At that moment I had to go out to buy a bus ticket, and as I was driving, I broke down all the way to the station.
A mother’s love is so powerful that as you witness her downfall, you can’t bear to let your mother just fall like that. When a man and a woman fall in love with one another, it is a two-way love. But a mother’s love can either be a one-way or two-way love. No matter whether you remember or forsake her, her love for you is never dying. Do you see the greatness of a mother’s love? Do you see how great a mother is? Do you see why there is also a Malay saying that, “Syurga itu terletak di telapak kaki ibu” (translated meaning “Heaven is located at a mother’s feet”)?
Indeed, I salute all mothers in this world. And I shall salute to all mothers-to-be. You are the greatest gift anyone can have. You are indeed the best gift God can give.

*steps up to laptop* [...] we should learn not to have expectations in any situation, but rather to have preferences [...]
*takes a quick gulp of water*
It's been a while people. Hmmm... everyone here seems to be "in the mood for love". Since every has posted something up about love, I'm going to continue the chain now. As an answer to Esther's post, I am one of those who is in love right now. It has been nothing short of an interesting ride so far. I have been missing that feeling for a very long time until recently (okay, not so recent). It's just that feeling of being loved, being cared for, to love someone, care for someone, do things for someone that you will otherwise never do for anyone. People who have been in love before but are no longer at the moment, no matter how much we resist it or no matter how happy we are with our current life, you just can't help but miss those times and those memories. At times you wish they would come back.
No matter how many experiences one has had, still when you are in love once again, it's a whole new experience. A new person, a new character, a new style and new problems. On a more positive note, new sweet memories which one will definitely remember. Okay, so now say that you are in love with someone (mutually), here's the new question. What's next? What are the both of you going to do?
In most cases, that's when you get together (you know, the boyfriend/girlfriend thingy). In some other cases, couples would wait a while before making a decision of what to do with their relationship. Perhaps testing to see if it would last, perhaps to see if everything that is happening is not just a crush and that it is all real. The latter decision would be more popular amongst couples who are less sure or more cautious, wanting to be sure the relationship lasts for a long long time.
Then a new question arises. In either cases, call yourselves whatever you want, "boyfriend/girlfriend", "still just friends" or any weird thing that you can come up with, it is a fact that you are no longer just normal friends. Things are not the same anymore. So how do you maintain this new relationship? That is a separate issue from getting together with the person. Now you have to deal with trust issues, the person's character or attitude, his or her likes and dislikes, how you show love to each other, how you communicate with each other, outbursts from the other party, disappointments, jealousy and insecurity just to name a few. There are too many things to consider before you can actually make your relationship work and last for a long time. Since there are SO many things to consider, why bother to do such a troublesome thing in the first place?
I guess that's the weird thing about love. You just love the other person so so so much that all these troublesome things just seem small enough to ignore for the moments you are with him or her. I guess if there was a sure-fire way to overcome problems in a relationship, the simplest way I can put it for you here is that we should learn not to have expectations in any situation, but rather to have preferences. If we expect our "other half" to do certain things or react in certain ways to us, more often than not we are going to end up disappointed. If we learn to just have preferences, we wouldn't really be disappointed that often. Well, I'm saying this because I know it works. I'm sure some can testify to that *grins*. I'm still learning to do that now, unfortunately I fail most of the time. But I'm trying hard, for the sake of working things out. Must remember that.
*yawns*
*tucks myself into bed*

;;Love is in the air!
Speaking of love, who's in love? (not the love you have for your parents or friends but someone special) Love; It can hurt.., it can make you happy! How is it that one can wait for him/her for years? How long does it take for one to fall in love? How would you know that you are in love? Because you are thinking about him/her all the time? Because you two blush whenever you two meet? Because your friends say so? So, how would you know?
Love at first sight: Is it for real or is it just a saying? What would you look for in a person of your criteria? If your first impression on someone with blue eyes, has spiky brown hair/ long "fluffy" (???) hair, 1/2 a head taller/shorter than you, would you approach him/ her? Well, that happens mostly in movies, don't you think? But beauty isn't only on the outside. Beauty is also from the heart. If your heart is beautiful, then you are too and that is what makes you love and be loved.
Here's something I have been trying to figure out for quite some time. If you have been hurt by love before, how did 'hurt' feel? Do you only feel blue? If you say pain, does your heart feel pain or is it only a figure of speech? Does your heart skip a beat? Do you feel as if there is a knife slicing your heart bit by bit? Do you feel pain physically? If love hurts, would you continue loving that person or move on? If love hurts so much, why wouldn't some people stop loving and stop attempting suicide?
I wonder... Are there people who would think and list down the pros and cons of love? How does love give a happy feeling to one? Are there neurons, hormones and other cells involved? Is there a chemistry equation to it (besides the pheromones)? Lastly, is love right for us? or should we wait until we are older (20 plus) to fall in love?
I've got to be mad to ask so many questions...

;;Not mine, of course. I've always wondered about this guy thing among my male friends. When a girl is single, they're very chummy. They confide their secrets, ask you to join their outings and sms frequently. All this, however, is done in a purely platonic manner. When she gets a boyfriend (especially if it's someone they know), things change. They talk to you less, etc. because you're TAKEN. Kinda like respecting another dude's territory.
Lately, I'm beginning to understand that 'thing'. A close friend started dating someone I know faintly. It's unnoticeable but my friend and I are slightly not as close as before. The jokes and laughter are still there, but the deeper understanding feels like it's being compromised.
She's from a totally different circle of friends. She's a pretty decent person. I'm happy that he's happy. Downside, she and I really don't have much in common or anything to talk about. Furthermore, I'm not one for small talk...and when I do that, it feels construed at times. So it's weird that now what we do in a big group includes her. That I have to sort of get to know her because she's the girlfriend.
I guess that's what comes as part and parcel of being friends. When you're young, you get to know their boyfriends/girlfriends. Once you hit adulthood, you have lunch with your friends and their partners. Not to mention, be the best man or the bridesmaid. To smile at the quiet but excited way he tells you about her because it's so unlike him. And to comfort when the ghost of the past girl resurfaces.
Adapting takes time, I suppose...

"love happens..."
well, unfortunately, it doesnt. shit happens, i'll tell you that, but not love. for a dork like me, it doesnt happen. even if it does, i dont think it is love. its merely lust from deep inside of your lustfull selves.
what is love? the eternal question that has yet to bear any answer.
love. love. love. it sounds so pure and real, that only the purest of heart can truly feel its greatness. unfortunately for me though, i had exploited the word love. i express 'love' orally to those whom i have no such feelings of. and thus, i felt that the word LOVE meant little to me.
even if i did express it to someone i know that i will truly care about and would probably live my whole life with, but love would still be, 'just another word' nonetheless. but what do i know? im just a 17 year old who is utterly brainless about the world (yea, people who got updated with politics and all that...you scare me with all your knowledge) and absoloutely couldnt care less about other people. unless, i have something to do with them that is.
urggghh... i still cant believe even that after 3 years, i would still be thinking about 'Mr. Lawyer' (lets just call him that). its a sad truth really, considering the fact that he wouldnt think about me at all. but hopefully, he does. that'll be good. i miss having him being around me. i miss talking to him without sounding like a total dork.
i would still have this nervous feeling inside of me whenever i talk to him. even text messaging him was hard for me as i would always check my spelling and grammar countless times. i know, it sounds all weird and stuff, but its true.
i miss moments with him. i miss the old days where i would not be afraid to just say the wrong things and that, we would always have whatever reason to look at each other and smiled. i miss being in a big crowd, where the only thing i see was him and me, and that we were in our own little world. i missed having him to look at me in that oh-she's-so-pretty type of look and just smiled at me or wink at me.
i missed that feeling. i missed it soooooo much.
what i experienced with him in that one week was unbelievable. i want that magical feeling back. i guess, when i do think about it, i would say that i do miss him. but ultimately, i missed the feeling more.
the feeling of being
treasured.
cared for.
nurtured.
protected.
guided.
loved.
i want that feeling again. and i hope that, when i do get it, i would sincerely have feelings for that person... i dont want to just be with someone just because i pitied him or maybe, wanting to experiment with situations. thats just plain stupid...
but whatever it is... things have passed. and eventhough how much i want him to be in my life again, i cant. he has moved on now. although how much i think about him and think about those memories and moments together, it came to me that, i, myself, have to move on.
but i guess, thats the power of First Love...
you can never forget them. never, ever...

;;Yes love.
I have always loved. And i will always love.
And i know that there are those who love me.
And of the many people i know these are the few that i truly love. I would give my life for them in a second, for i pray that He take my life first before them.
These are those people...

Have you made a difference to the world? If you think you have I'll show you more ways to help. If you think you have not why don't you let show you how to start. Everything I'm talking about can be done through the internet without any hassle. Here are the 2 ways to help the world.
The Hunger Site
The Hunger Site and its siblings (the Breast Cancer, Child Health, Literacy, Rainforest, and Animal Rescue Sites) are simple to use: Click the button, and it donates the value of 1.1 cups of staple food (or saving 11.4 square feet of rainforest, or other granular donations). The sites are legitimate, and they raise their funds by hosting ads (many of which advertise other world-saving causes). You can click each site's button once per day.
If we are able to surf the internet count yourself very lucky. By just clicking we could at least share our good fortunes with the poor or save our heritage. Start clicking today.
World Community Grid
When you're not using it, your computer can fight AIDS, muscular dystrophy, and cancer. After you download and install their programme, the World Community Grid uses your computer's idle time to process data for any of several world-changing medical projects. WCG treats every computer as part of a giant processor: your computer downloads data, crunches it, and sends the info back to the Grid. If a crucial part of a medical cure is found using your computer, WCG will let you share the glory.
I know many of you guys have computer idle time just like me. Why not help in the research of cures for the world's killer diseases. One person can make a difference. Can you make a difference?

We have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints; we spend more, but have less; we buy more, but enjoy it less.
We have bigger houses and smaller families; more conveniences, but less time; we have more degrees, but less common sense; more knowledge, but less judgment; more experts, but more problems; more medicine, but less wellness.
We spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry too quickly, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too seldom, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.
We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom and lie too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life; we've added years to life, not life to years.
We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor.
We've conquered outer space, but not inner space; we've done larger things, but not better things; we've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul; we've split the atom, but not our prejudice; we write more, but learn less; plan more, but accomplish less.
We've learned to rush, but not to wait; we have higher incomes, but lower morals; more food but less appeasement; more acquaintances, but fewer friends; more effort but less success.
We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication; we've become long on quantity, but short on quality.
These are the time of fast foods and slow digestion; tall men and short character; steep profits, and shallow relationships.
These are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare; more leisure and less fun; more kinds of food, but less nutrition.
These are days of two incomes, but more divorce; of fancier houses, but broken homes.
These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one-night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill.
It is a time when there is much in the show window, and nothing in the stockroom.

;;Dolphins love sex.
Dolphins especially bottle nosed dolphins unlike most other creatures use sex not only for procreation. Like humans dolphins also use sex for pleasure and bonding. Additionally dolphins engage in homosexuality, bisexuality, rape and bestiality.
Bottled nosed dolphins
Male dolphins upon reaching adulthood usually move away from their pod. They form alliances with other males. It doesn't stop there. Most of the time this alliances of two to three are sexual in nature. These males have been observed to engage in highly charged sexual play with their prehensile dork. Some even go towards full blown gay sex.
The even more shocking fact is scientists have observed that all adult male dolphins are bisexual as they engage in behaviour stated above and also go for females. When they feel like having coitus a male dolphin alliance will search for a pod. Here they single out a female to court. Then one male will go after a chosen female.
Courtship behaviour of the male includes clinging along to that female, posing for the female, stroking, rubbing, nuzzling, mouthing, jaw clapping, and yelping. Copulation is preceded by lengthy foreplay; then the two animals arrange belly to belly, the penis extends out of its slit and is inserted into the vagina. The act lasts only 10-30 seconds, but is repeated numerous times, with several minutes break in between. After one male is finished having sex his ally will take over.
When we talk about dolphin rape it's always gang-rape. For a creature with only flippers living in a water world there is no way a single male dolphin to commit rape so they bring friends. They raid pods and male alliances (when they have their girl) kidnapping a female by surrounding her in order force her away with them. These poor females are kept for weeks even months being repeatedly raped.
It gets better. There is even a recording of dolphin rape (audio) according to this page. Here is the testimony by Dr Liz Hawkins.One day in front of the Cape we recorded a group of dolphins. And what it looked like was 4 males pursuing and chasing a female who really didn’t want to be chased. And she would basically put her genitals above the water and she’d keep putting her belly above the water so the males couldn’t get to her. And as she did that there was a really intense emission of whistles, and basically it was the same whistle being called over and over and over again and it was quite a distressed type of call.
Dolphin sex.
Dolphins are also known to have interspecies sex with other dolphins, porpoises and humans!!?! Here is an excerpt from a CNN report in June 2002 about George (a horny male dolphin) which tried to hump humans.Georges is a bottlenose dolphin and has made Weymouth harbour, Dorset his home for the summer. Thousands of people have been swimming with him and watching him from boats, but his behavior starting changing a month ago. Ric O'Barry, the trainer on the show 'Flipper' was brought in to investigate and has apparently seen this behavior before. 'When dolphins get sexually excited, they try to isolate a swimmer, normally female. They do this by circling around the individual and gradually move them away from the beach, boat or crowd of people.' O'Barry said the dolphin would get very excited and rough before trying to mate with a swimmer, possibly causing them to drown.
More recently, a New Zealand woman was severely injured in December when a dolphin leapt into her boat and crushed her with the full weight of his filthy, heaving body. A Coast Guard expert explained the behavior by saying that the dolphin had just become "over-excited."
Even Jessica Alba almost got nailed by dolphin back when she was teenager while on the syndicated New Adventures Of Flipper back in the 90s. Here's her testimony about her encounter from this page."Dolphins get excited, even when you're a human being, and they have long, long...(12 to 14 inch prehensile dork) I didn't know this until I was poked by a few of them, which was very rude. I sort of requested female dolphins after that because those are little b------s."
Dolphins get even more deviant. In Robin Brown's jaw-dropping tome, "The Lure of the Dolphin" (Avon, 1979), he writes that dolphins "engage in love-play with almost every creature in sight - with mothers, brothers, fathers, daughters, cousins or aunts. There is even one record of a Bottlenose Dolphin masturbating with a herring."
There is even an account of dolphin-human sex here by a delphinic zoophile.
Killer whale dork. (Killer whales are the world's largest dolphin.)

I recently came across this post on the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order while I was preparing my slides for my Moral Studies class; it's titled "Sex and the Single-minded", written by Maitreyabandhu in the summer of 1998. An extract:Shortly after I encountered Buddhism I confidently predicted that I would be celibate within three years. Why it was three years rather than two or five, I do not know. What I did know was that I wanted to get on with living the spiritual life as wholeheartedly and uncompromisingly as possible. To me that meant being celibate within three years.
Not that I mean to preach here (thought: do Buddhists preach?), but the way this article deals with relationships (not just sex) is pretty interesting. Most of us are still in that turbulent period of life when we experience the often painful but blissful
About 12 years later I am still sexually active, still involved in the same sexual relationship, and still trying to live the spiritual life in a wholehearted and uncompromising way. It is not that I have given up on celibacy, nor that I no longer experience sexual relationships as a compromise (in some ways I feel the compromise more acutely than ever). But I have a more realistic view of the forces I am trying to transform. I have grown up a bit, and my naive confidence has been tempered by a deeper understanding of the difficulties of trying to transcend sexual desire.
The spiritual life involves transforming one′s whole being, and resolving within oneself the seemingly paradoxical tensions which that throws up. One such tension, you could say, is between the two great poles of meaning and pleasure; and spiritual life involves an attempt to unite and transcend them. A life without meaning is shallow and paltry; a life without pleasure is almost unliveable. In trying to unite and transcend them we need not only to face up to uncomfortable truths about sex and romance but also to find more genuinely satisfying sources of pleasure which, instead of distracting us from meaning, augment it.
[ Continue reading! ]ignorance happiness of 'love'.
This article pretty much sums up our dilemma pretty much in a (rather large) nutshell. His insight into this complicated part of our lives proved very... true, at least in my case. I think the rest of you will find it just as interesting too, if not more.
When we enter a relationship at this age, what do we expect from it?
Seriously, when I got involved in my first relationship - well, it was in 2004, but I don't think it'd qualify as a 'relationship' per se, since it was mostly a one-sided affair on my part - I thought I was looking for 1. and 2. In the end, after countless painful moments and unreturned love - made all the more hurtful due to my reluctance to confess (and the constant circulating rumours) - I gave up entirely. Took me quite awhile to patch up the wounds, though.
In the end, I still have no idea what I was really looking for. I suppose the closest explanation would be that I was looking for someone to cherish, and to be cherished in return as well. Perhaps it was partly because of 4. too; the girl I loved liked had a crush on was one of the crowd favorites. Haven't fallen in with anyone since then.
Well, not in the traditional sense, anyway. I'm sure some of you will understand my meaning. *wink* Hope you find this article interesting. Share it with some of their friends and note their reaction. I guess some things just transcend religious boundaries, eh?
