RANDTS will last a thousand years.

I found this on Boing Boing. The kiasu Singaporeans are building this crazy condominium with four towers seemingly hanging off the sides of another, central tower. The 153 meter tall condominium will be located at the intersection of Scotts Road and Cairnhill Road, in close proximity to Orchard Road, Singapore’s most famous street. With 20,000m² of built floor area, the building will provide 68 high-end apartment units with panoramic views. Due to the highly regulated building environment in Singapore, developers are forced to get creative when they want to cram as many apartment units as possible in one building. The design strategically maneuvers within the highly regulated building environment to maximize the fullest potential of the site. I'll want to live in such a future icon. To me Singaporean engineers and architects being one of the best in the world and building in a very strict environment will construct the safest of structures in the world. Want to move into that insane condominium once it's finished?

P.S: On this blog, stupid and ignorant commenters asked whether the building is earthquake proof. Are there earthquakes in Singapore or Malaysia? That blogger also doesn't understand that the laws of physics are "divine".
