A Experience Worth Trying.....

Hei guys, just got back from Ipoh Parade. Bought some stuff for Chinese New Year. We had lunch at Sushi King. Guess what? You might not believe this but today was the first time I have ever tried Sushi King! I tried the Soba noodle & it was kind of tasty & had a scallop with egg & fish roe sushi, very tasty. I even tried putting some wasabi on it. Has anyone tried wasabi? I'm telling you it's an experience worth trying.

I remembered the first time I tried wasabi & I underestimated how strong was wasabi. I got one hell of an experience. It's like a bomb just went of in your nose & out from your nostrils. How was your first experience with wasabi? I want to hear from you guys. Don't be a wet blanket & tell me how it felt.

*thinking of sushi king...* You are making me hungry. It feels like ages since I last ate there. Yes, wasabi... When I first tasted it, I experienced what you experienced: 'It's like a bomb just went of in your nose & our from your nostrils.' I was drinking cups of water just to realise that the 'spiciness' can go away on its own after teary eyes and mucus flow. Then, I learnt about how powerful wasabi can be. Never underestimate the true power of a green substance.. hahah..

Which is why it can be kept on its own without putting it into a refrigerator for a very long time...

Wasabi, haha! I don't take alot of wasabi with my sushi as I prefer my nose to be 'unscathed'. Wasabi and soy sauce (both sweet and salty) complement sushi, and should not over-power the 'sanctity' of it.

I see a few good comments. Right now I'm down with the fever, cold, sore throat & cough. I was wondering if the wasabi was the cause of all this. I don't always eat Japanese food you see. But the comment I heard earlier from Comrade Cripple that "Wasabi intoxicates bacteria" so I guess I can't blame it on the Wasabi....or is it?....(coughs,sneezes,chocks,feeling dizzy & fall down to the keyboard of the laptop unconscious)
